Nepalese Sunshine
In the mountains of Nepal there are beautiful people with smiling eyes and welcoming hearts. I met this young woman on the road between Kathmandu and Pokhara. Though she carried a heavy burden, her smile was as bright as Nepalese sunshine.
The original watercolor, from which these lithographs were made, received the First Place Award in the Muskegon Fine Art Society's juried exhibition of 2002. It also appeared in the Wyoming Art Show in southern Ohio.
Twenty dollars from the sale of each print goes to the American Himalayan Foundation.
