Maple Pecan Pie
from the kitchen of Maureen DeBellefeuille
Ontario, Canada

Maple syrup imparts a subtle flavor to this delicious pie. It's one of my favorites.

3 large eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup real maple syrup
1 cup pecan pieces
3/4 cup corn syrup
10 or more pecan halves for decoration

Blend well eggs, sugar, maple and corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Add pecan pieces. Put in uncooked 9-inch pie shell. Arrange pecan halves on top rounded side up. Bake for 40-50 minutes (glass pie pan) at 350 degrees F.

Cool before serving.

Enjoy!
