Germany
Dear honey;
How are my darlings tonight?
I received a letter from you and one from ma today. Yours was from the twenty seventh and ma’s the twenty eighth.
Ma ask what C. B. I meant. It means China, Burma and India, the South Pacific.
The church we went to Mother’s Day was Maria Laoch. I imagine you have the cards of it by now. It is in as good a shape as the pictures show it.
I didn’t do much of anything today but work on the wrecker. I started to put new seats in it and it ran into more of a job than I thought it would. I worked until
I forgot to put that money in your letter last night, so I put it in ma’s and told her to give it to you. I have some other little souvenirs that I’ll stick in this letter. They are German air corp insignias.
It is ten thirty now and it is just getting dark. It gets light about four in the morning.
It is pretty late honey so I guess I’d better close for tonight. Goodnight darling. Lots of hugs and kisses for my darlings.
Your loving husband
Clarence
