Dear honey;

     How are my darlings tonight? I only have a few minutes

to write, but I wanted to let you know about our change of

A.P.O. number.

     I got three letters from you today and one from each of

the folks at home. One from ma, Charlie and Ray. It seemed

good to hear from all of them. Charlie wants me to request

something so he can send something. I really don’t know

what to ask for. The letters I got from you were the ones of

the fourteenth, fifth and ninth. I’ll do a better job of

answering your letters tomorrow. I wrote all of the others

yesterday but I’ll answer theirs as soon as I can.

     I’m running out of space and time so I’d better close.

Goodnight darling. Lots of love for my honeys.

                                                 Your loving husband

                                                         Clarence

Note: The Charlie mentioned in this letter is dad's oldest brother. Chuckie was born on his birthday, so he was named after him.
